Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing communication deliverables and activities in support of corporate and executive goals, employee and customer engagement and the company's marketing programs for software products and services
Works closely with subject matter experts, channel experts, editors, writers, partners and external resources to plan, evaluate and commission new content ideas and solicit and share insights to empower campaign teams with high-performing content.
The resulting offers should drive reach, engagement, sentiment, conversion, education and commitment from SAS’s target buyers and customers.
Reports to MEA Marketing Manager, dotted line to CEMEA content & comms lead, works closely with country local marketing teams
Coordinates content & comms resources in MEA and makes sure that the team provides a high quality service to all stakeholders
Primary Responsibilities
Advises SAS leadership, divisions and global staff (as relevant) on how to meet specific objectives via appropriate communications tools and channels and coordinates these efforts across the MEA Region in contact with local country teams
Leads and manages a campaign-focused content and communications strategy that supports business objectives and is crafted to deliver a high-quality prospect and customer experience, honing methods that work for the brand / product.
Creates internal and external communications, including magazines, articles, news releases, announcements, ads, direct mail, newsletters, scripts, and other communication materials.
Integrates both new and traditional media approaches to stay current with communication trends and target audiences.
Drafts and edits communications materials for senior leadership and other relevant spokespeople to highlight SAS at key industry events (could be talking points, speeches, presentation development).
Develops and maintains relationships and engagement with relevant constituents, which may include external media, influencers, employees, partners, customers and community members in order to deliver and publish key company messages and engage in dialogue.
Publishes to, and works in, a number of content, communications or digital platforms including content management systems, blogging platforms, social media management platforms, etc.
Understands the structure of a good story and how it plays out in different mediums
Integrates content plan with Blog, Video, Advertising, Search, Social, Content Syndication, 3rd party Community and Sponsorship, Ecommerce, etc. strategies.
Collaborates on the development of editorial content calendars.
Stays abreast (at an in- depth level) of industry trends, developments, and current technologies and shares information with management and staff.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Fluent in English, French and Arabic
Experience working in the Technology / Software / IT industry
Demonstrates ability to develop communications strategy to achieve corporate goals
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences
Advanced proficiency in the specific types of writing and editing related to area of assignment.
Advanced knowledge of content marketing concepts / processes related to area of assignment
Advanced knowledge of computer / software industry and marketing preferred
Solid grasp of current best practices for the execution and delivery of relevant communication vehicles. Strong organizational and creative problem solving skills
Demonstrated strength in practices related to measuring communications projects, including new media
Experienced with social media communications channels; ability to integrate these channels into plans & strategies to achieve stated goals
Ability to work in complex, matrix organization environments
Willingness and ability to work with virtual international teams
