We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players to join our Rentals team as a Laundry Attendant. Full-Time & Part-Time, Seasonal positions for our Whitehorse Dealership in the Yukon.

Hours and days of work will be determined by business levels. The dealership is open 8 : 30am - 5pm Monday to Sunday; Applicants must have flexibility to work overtime and either a Saturday or Sunday as part of their shift.

The Laundry Attendant is a vital role in ensuring our customers’ vacation dreams are realized. This position is responsible for laundry services to ensure our rental fleet is cleaned, set, and ready to exceed our customers’ expectations.

  • Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as cleaning dishes and bedding.
  • Folding laundry efficiently and neatly.
  • Working wonders with stain and dirt removal in fabrics.
  • Basic sewing repairs on fabrics if required.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits or disturbances.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Work experience in housekeeping / laundry.
  • Interest in RVs.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Working quickly without compromising quality.
  • Knowledge of English language (considered an asset)
  • Work Conditions

  • Shift work required, including evening, weekends and early mornings.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bending, twist, push, pull and carry equipment and supplies.
  • Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required
  • Manual dexterity required to operate cleaning equipment including power washers and hand tools.
