Poste proposé : Manager, Sales Development (Remote, EMEA)

Description of Duties :

We're looking for a Sales Development Manager to join Grafana Labs and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives.

In this role, you will help scale our SDR function and develop, train, and hire highly driven and enthusiastic team members.

Reporting to our Director, Sales Development, you will help grow our team culture based on a shared set of values and shared wins.

To be successful in this role, you should find joy in building and enabling successful teams through a clear vision, structure, and strategy and be passionate about process, metrics, and developing your team, but are not a micromanager of your team members.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify, hire, coach, and promote top talent
  • Work with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations Teams to help define strategy and processes to improve efficiency and scale growth of your team
  • Work with Marketing to ensure quality generation, enablement, and nurturing of leads
  • Work closely with Sales Executives to ensure enough quality pipeline to help meet revenue targets
  • Empower your team with creative and scalable pipeline generation strategies
  • Become the expert of your business; build a deep understanding of your region’s key metrics, performance, challenges, and areas for growth
  • Regularly report on key individual and team metrics to identify strengths and area for improvement to Sales and Marketing Leadership

    Requirements :

  • English and German or Spanish or Italian or French language fluency (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to build strong and positive relationships across departments
  • The cleverness to think about driving rep efficiency and pipeline growth, and the drive to get things done
  • Autonomy and ability to operate and thrive in an ambitious, ephemeral, collaborative self-starting environment
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to prioritize and handle a variety of high-visibility, high-impact initiatives
  • The heart and dedication to aid SDR’s in challenging themselves and learn new skills and strategies to hit their long term career goals
  • 2+ years of experience in software tech sales and / or sales development, preferably in the Open Source space
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management capacity
  • Success in driving pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting strategies
  • Whether through work or life experience, you have proven success in working with people across cultures and countries.
