TE's Payroll teams prepare, document and disburse payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. They evaluate current systems, and recommend and develop operating efficiency improvements.
They also serve as liaison to employees and third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments and deductions and prepare reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including items such as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.
The Payroll Specialist is a key player in the HR team and will provide centralized Payroll & HR support to the HR team. The HR team in NA support all Bus.
Key areas of responsibility include the administration and processing of the End to End Payroll for NA, provide payroll support and the continuous improvement of processes.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Monthly end to end payroll cycle for NA : timely & accurate processing, calculations, reporting, distributions, and queries;
Provide monthly support to internal / external payroll providers for all BUs;
Ensuring compliance with local, company and statutory regulations;
Streamlining and continuous improvement of payroll processes;
Provide audit support for all BUs;
Partnering closely with payroll providers and the HR team to ensure compliance practices;
Actively participate in key projects in line with payroll & HR strategies;
First point of contact for all external insurance, pension and broker vendors;
Management of payroll vendors;
Collection of annual merit review data for submission;
Annual benefit uploads for all BUs;
Provide support in administrative HR tasks.
What your background should look like :
University degree in Economics, HR, Finance or similar
5-7 years’ experience in similar position
Professional working experience in end to end payroll processing for a medium-large company;
Experience in applying payroll knowledge and best practice into business solutions;
Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of payroll and tax legislation;
Experience in a global (matrix) organization is preferred.
Experience in working with (external) consulting partners;
Proven experience in delivering process improvements.
Key Requirements :
Education in payroll such as PDL, VPS or similar;
Domain experience in end to end payroll, including data management, metrics and measurement & Operations;
Experience with information systems ADP and SAP (SuccessFactors) is a big plus;
Result-orientated, strong priority-setting, pro-active;
Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international (matrix) organisation;
Proven success delivering an Extraordinary Customer Experience;
Experience in working with consulting partners;
Expert in Excel preferred and relevant experience with other MS Office (Word, Powerpoint) applications;
Knowledge of core HR and payroll data elements;
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation & communication skills;
Full working proficiency in French and English.
