We are hiring a OPU (Operating Unit) Controller based in Casablanca. The position reports to the Head of Finance and Administration NWA.
As the OPU (Operating Unit) Controller of NWA Organization, you work closely with Senior Managers of Business / Function.
In this role, you analyse and provide decision making relevant figures / information to the Management. This is one of the best positions within our organization to get deep understanding of businesses, finance, processes, systems and people while contributing to further growth of Boehringer Ingelheim.
Tasks & responsibilities
On time and accurate submission of the monthly, yearly and periodic reporting of company and business data; including financial, headcount and CAPEX data.
Hands on ownership of the closure activities in accordance with the corporate policies and guidelines in the relevant systems
Comparison of the actual data with budget figures
Extraction of data from various sources (SAP, Qlikview, TM1, internal systems etc), evaluation and analysis of the data
Preparation of the regular performance presentations to the management at local & regional level.
Ensuring proper communication of planning, deadlines, targets and other relevant data for the budget cycle to the relevant stakeholders in the OPU
Preparation of the long term budgets and rolling forecasts together with BPs
Participating review meetings with OPU management by generating relevant overviews, analysis and business support
Ensuring timely submission of data in the appropriate systems
Getting into daily interaction with business partnering regarding expenses, sales and decision making processes with financial point of view
Brand portfolio analysis and optimization
Contribution to market access pricing team for scenarios
Key user and contributor for GBS operations locally
Bachelor of Business Administration or similar
7-9 years of Finance and Business Controlling experience incl. systems, processes and guidelines required. Audit background (assurance, tax, corporate finance) is a plus.
Pharma background / experience would be preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS
Experience in SAP and project management
Strong functional and good business know-how, strong technical skills in systems and tools, strong process thinking
Strong analytical thinking, esp. ability to understand and work on complex controlling, business and finance related topics
Agile, flexible, learning & sharing, able to influence and impact people and to work under pressure, team player
Strong enabling attitude combined with a critical and challenging mindset to be effective and efficient in the interaction with the Business Partner
Quick apprehension and fast adaption to changing environment and work requirements
Excellent command of both English and French language skills
