Main Missions : As a SQA (Software Quality Assurance) Leader within the P&SD team for Government solutions, you act as the software quality liaison to both internal (specifically with SPM / PM) and external customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
You ensure the solution’s testability, provide rapid feedback to developers, and ensure the highest quality of the resulting solution.
You ensure that our products and solutions are reliable and stable, with the appropriate level of usability and are delivered with a comprehensive set of documentation.
You work on the validation strategy definition, validation test plan, and the quality process. Specific responsabilities : - You coordinate the project team’s SQA resources and activities, including estimating, prioritizing, and planning test activities - You track quality assurance metrics including defect densities and open defect counts - You review and assess the specifications and technical design documents of the products and solutions - You engage the cross functional team (including Software Development, Integration, Support and Maintenance, and etc.
to build the test strategy in accordance with project budget and timeline - You are vigilant about the quality of the delivery, pushing development team when needed - You provide timely communication of risks that are identified through SQA activities - You determine the appropriate testing platforms and tools as needed - You participate in defining functional and non-functional tests, including (where appropriate) Security, Performance, Load, Robustness, High Availability, Accuracy, and UX (User Experience) - You define and manage all the test plans (including Validation Test Plan and Acceptance Test Plan) and any appropriate manual or automated test activities - You define and monitor project test coverage and requirements traceability as per defined and approved specifications - You may execute the Acceptance Tests with customers - You manage weekly defect reviews - You create periodic global reporting to Project Leader / Managers where needed - You practice and follow the Gemalto QA process, tools, and best practices - You prepare and present inputs to the Development Life Cycle reviews (CDLC) >
Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field >
Experience Level : - Minimum of 4 years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer or related field - Minimum 1-2 years of general coding / scripting experience - 1 year experience in Technical Leading or equivalent as appropriate >
Competences : Technical / functional skills : - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes - Strong experience with performance and security testing - Strong experience in software development - Good knowledge of programming languages (Java, C#) - Strong experience with automated testing tools (JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium) - Knowledge on BDD (Behavior Driven Development), using Gherking language where appropriate - Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting - Knowledge on Web technologies, applications servers, webservices, and testing of API / SDK (SOAP / REST) as appropriate - Knowledge on data communication / networking protocols / technologies - Work experience with JIRA / Confluence or equivalent - Knowledge on development tool including Jenkins, Mercurial, and etc.
