TL Test Technology Workshop

Main Responsibilities / Tasks :

  • Ensures all tools, equipment and software is available for Test Technology workshop
  • Ensures the implementation of defined standards relating to equipment, processes, software and systems within the Test technology workshop
  • Records all the orders to his / her department and ensure timely closure
  • Creates and reviews test technology local work instruction
  • Monitors the backup plan for test programs and test parameters
  • Ensures support :
  • For equipment and tools development (design) (test modules, specific processes, etc.)
  • For the determination of short term solutions as alternatives for testing on different test modules and test equipment
  • In planning of investments budget for production equipment (additional and replacements) and Workshop machineries
  • In technical analyses for customer complaints
  • In activities for identification of root causes of process disturbances and searches for solutions
  • Develops the test programs according to requirements
  • For building of test tables, test boards and vision tests, internally or externally
  • For installation and validation of test equipment
  • In order to change the test programs, test tables, test boards and vision systems during product changes and new introduction (Change Management & Project Management)
  • Ensures the backup of test programs and test parameters used for first setup
  • Improves the programming, construction, installation and validation processes for test equipment
  • Suggests improvements for test equipment and test modules design
  • Provides feedback to Production Process Owner Test Technology related to test modules functionality and design (resulted from inspection or daily usage)
  • Carries out activities for specific processes
  • Develops local suppliers under supervision of Production Management
  • Implements lessons learned, best practice and actively shares the information within the Production Management network
  • Carries out support activities for development of new production equipment and processes in coordination with Production Management
  • Provides regular reports to his / her own superior(s)
  • Escalates according to defined escalation paths
  • Qualifications :

  • Graduated from electrical / mechanical / engineering or similar fields
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the equivalent filed (in the automotive industry) and 2 years on leading position
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization
