Role purposeThe management of all aspects of the CU Supply function and strategy, while serving as the primary link to the Territory Production & Supply OrganizationAccountabilitiesCreate and manage robust and cost effective Supply within the CU, with specific emphasis on security of supply, local cost of supply, inventory management, risk management, S&OP, local logistics and related Supply activities.
The CU Supply Manager is the primary interface between Commercial and Supply in the CU, and represents the P&S function in the CU leadership team.
Customer Service to achieve order processing to agreed customer service levels (note : In some CU’s, Customer Service falls under Sales accountability)Logistics and Warehousing to achieve the cost efficient distribution of Syngenta products to customers, to the required HSEQ standards Manage local Demand and Supply Planning to meet forecast product demand and ensure all supply inventories are optimized Management of local tolling operations to achieve a reliable supply of product, meeting Syngenta standards at optimal cost (note : Varies by Territory and CU)Define and own targets set against the standard set of KPIs, to monitor Supply performance and ensure that it is delivering against the strategic imperatives.
Proactively identify potential supply issues and work with key stakeholders to ensure that they are resolved. Operating the CU S&OP process and support of the Cluster / Territory / Regional S&OP process.
Contribute to the growth of the local business through support in implementing supply chain concepts and strategies that are aligned to and support the overall business strategy.
Manage import and export of products where applicableEnsure compliance in respective area of responsibility and in close cooperation and alignment with Legal and TaxesEnsure a proactive review of CU demand inputs with Commercial
Experience required 5-7 years in a Senior Supply operations or related role, including customer-facing experience, product knowledge and ways of working in P&SKnowledge of Supply Chain OperationsKnowledge of Territory business requirementsBachelor Degree in relevant studiesFluent English and French command
