Our client is a leader in it's sector, fast growing, it expands rapidly through acquisitions in Morocco and West Africa
Under the leadership of the CEO, work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the growth and integration strategy
Establish a group finance function at speed, setting up best practice financial governance, processes, reporting and systems, as well as building out and developing the finance team
Together with the CEO, define and own the strategic financial plan and annual budget and ensure delivery against targets by challenging management
Upgrade the group's financial planning and analysis capabilities to ensure finance and business leaders have the right insights to focus the business on the most relevant metrics and value drivers that will drive profitable growth and optimize working capital
Explore opportunities to reduce costs, optimize working capital / cashflow and capex, leveraging Private Equity best practice
Ensure the Company's capital structure is appropriate to maximize growth and manage all debt facilities
Prepare and lead the planned IPO, ensuring that the finance organization, processes etc. are upgraded and 'IPO ready' whilst also providing leadership in the planning and execution of the IPO itself e.
g. working with advisors to prepare the relevant company information, managing stakeholder communication, presenting to potential investors etc.
Manage any potential M&A opportunities (esp. add-ons)
Potentially oversee responsibility for the IT function in alignment with the corporate strategy and business goals (TBC)
Experience in delivering a sale / exit for shareholders
Experience in cash management, raising fresh financing, and M&A transactions
Track record in delivering change management (integration experience preferred) at speed, optimizing processes and systems leading to significant performance improvements
Experience in portfolio management across several different business units
Experience of operating in a highly leveraged business / with private equity shareholders would be beneficial
Excellent team leadership skills
Prepared to get into the detail and establish processes / systems etc. from scratch with a 'roll up sleaves' attitude
Strong communicator with the ability to drive transformation cross-functionally in a culturally aware manner
Fluent in French and English
