Job Description :
The job entails close liaison between Sales, Customer Service staff and the Vendors we represent. Responsible for the day-to-day purchasing of I.
T. software and hardware equipment, you will be expected to work to tight deadlines and be capable of shouldering considerable responsibility.
Duties will include but are not restricted to :
Processing / progressing customer orders and working closely with the Quote & configuration and Renewals team to check pricing and discounts,
Create Place and Track Purchase Orders by Vendor
Update Customer Service on PO progress, shipment dates, delivery dates, POD’s
Liaise with customers regarding requirements to process their orders
Update PO Process Manual by vendor as procedures change
Assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies
Assist Billing and Sales Departments with problem Purchase Orders until PO is processed / complete
Work with Vendors to ensure PO’s are shipped and invoiced within deadline for month-end reporting
Close liaison with Vendor team in order to maximize order load
Implementing and maintaining systems as required to ensure that all processes run smoothly
Ensure PO’s and invoicing of your PO’s meet SOX compliance requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
A strong candidate for this position possesses solid organizational, communication and interpersonal skills while being able to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
An aptitude for computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. Strong time management and data entry experience is required.
