The Entreprise Travel & Meetings Business Partner for Morocco is responsible for the operational delivery and performance of the Meetings & Congresses in Morocco as well as the management of the local market ET&M function in Morocco in alignment with the AfME strategy and delivered via local team members.

Responsible for local implementation of GBS ET&M (Entreprise Travel & Meeting)policies, standards and initiatives, provides direction and metrics reporting for all initiatives.

Ensures data from country supports metrics objectives to deliver target savings goals. Responsible for compliance and implementation of process, supplier compliance, reporting and required documentation.

Responsible for Organisation local setup, talent development and coaching. Presents annual meeting plan to produce excellent business outcomes, improve processes and increase productivity and effectiveness for the business.

Directly reporting to this position is the Morocco ET&M coordinators


Core Responsibilities :

Lead the local Customer Engagement operations and compliance controls in the execution of events

Drive to setup the local team Structure, including talent selection, capability development and system rollout

Oversee the monthly work of the local ET&M team members and the assembly, review and reporting of meeting metrics.

Implement the regional ET&M strategies and align with the ET&M goals and objectives

Ensure compliance processes and global policies are adapted, implemented and followed at the market level

Educate staff on SOPs and compliance. Liaise with legal, medical, compliance, finance, Marketing

Key advisor to market organziation about meeting compliance and metrics

Key ET&M Interface for local Market colleagues and point of contact to coordinate / network ET&M needs across the Departments and collaborates with key internal stakeholders to meet Pfizer's business goals and objectives

Manage market ET&M demand and execution through the local team, contractors and vendors

Develop and oversee local market Standard Operating Procedures

Train local clients and vendors on process, SOPs

Set the bar high for performance and holds others accountable

Actively coach and develop talent and teams. Develops skills and competencies.

Subject Matter Expertise input for the business units- assisting with building operating plans, advising savings potentials, innovative approaches to meetings and compliance.

Assist in Annual budget process and other duties

Cost Management - review savings opportunities and new innovative approaches to the business

Development of solutions and metrics for sustainable change. Create an environment that is flexible and adaptive.

Support business objectives re compliance and financial reporting through managed processes, people and suppliers

Point of escalation for issues to be reviewed by Regional ET&M

Coordinate with GPO re sourcing initiatives, commercials, contract management, analytics, savings.

Key Interactions : Market commercial / Medical teams, other GBS teams, Event Agency suppliers, Key Hotel Groups, AV / Production and Exhibit Agencies, Travel Company, GPO, Finance, Legal, Compliance, BT


Vendor management. Works with Procurement to manage vendor relationships including MSAs, rates, terms, SLAs and account overviews.


Education : Bachelor's degrees required.

Qualifications / Experience :

Event management experience required in Pharma industry

Good knowledge of Pfizer compliance procedures and policies

2 to 5 years of Management / team leadership experience


Strong capabilities for meetings and events management especially in areas of consolidation, savings and implementation with strong knowledge of pharma industry and compliance.

Demonstrated ability to understand business and customer needs and to handle complex situations by managing conflict and problem solving.

Excellent relationship management skills - build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs and fulfilling expectations.

Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills are required with the ability to work at all levels of the organization in a professional manner.

Responsiveness to the needs of direct reports, supervisory management, internal stakeholders and internal customers.

Drive innovative approaches to making the team more effective and efficient

Strong analytical, project management, organization skills and demonstrated judgment

Excellent language skills French, English is required
