Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, resourceful senior software quality assurance
engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team.
The main tasks and responsibilities are :
Support product teams by implementing automated tests that verify E2E, UI, API, and data layers as part of a continuous delivery process
Participate in architectural discussions about automated test suites
Ensure automated tests internal standards are met by carrying out code reviews
Review and provide constructive feedback on peer test plans
Advocate for building and adopting tools that can enhance product development organization velocity
Promote the importance of quality adoption across all product areas within the organization
ABOUT YOU
What We Are Looking For :
Strong experience as software quality assurance engineer implementing automated tests
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Demonstrable experience of at least one modern test automation framework (i.e. TestCafe,Protractor, Cypress.io, Selenium or any other automated testing tool based on JavaScript)
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development framework
Strong teamwork and communication skills, both spoken and written
Useful Experience :
Strong experience with modern JavaScript
Good experience with REST API testing with Postman
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Strong experience with open-source automation tools focusing on BDD frameworks
Familiarity with docker containers, continuous integration systems (i.e., Gitlab, Github,
Jenkins), and AWS
Nice to have :
A DevOps mindset
Knowledge of shell scripting
What You Will Do :
During the First month :
Attend onboarding sessions to better understand our internal processes and learn about the team
Learn about TUI Musement and its internal organization by meeting colleagues across different product areas
Shadow QA team members to learn more about our tech stack, the products we support and our testing standards and processes
Code, test, automate to increase the overall quality of our most valuable product areas
Introduce monitoring checks in Newrelic aimed at dramatically reducing time to react to bugs
Within the following months : Collaborate with QA team members to increase test coverage by implementing automated tests for new and existing platforms
Participate to code and test plan reviews and provide constructive feedback to QA team members
Work with members of the tech and product teams to ensure that business requirements are in line with the QA team testing strategy
Collaborate with members of the tech and product teams to identify processes that can be automated to speed them up
Continue familiarizing with the various layers of TUI Musement platforms (back-end, frontend) and understanding how automated testing covers each one of them
Develop a deep understanding of the platforms’ underlying application stacks and deployment processes
Give your contribution to improving the QA continuous delivery pipelines
