Purpose of the position

Kalmar is looking for a

Trainee Service Technician (on ANAPEC contract)

who is responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing Kalmar and third party equipment, whilst providing a good level of customer service, through product knowledge and customer interaction.

This position is based in Casablanca, in Morocco. The role is reporting to Head Shift. Main tasks and responsibilities :

Undertakes servicing of Kalmar or third party equipment at our customer sites

Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high quality standard

Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behaviour and customer focused mindset

Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organisation’s products and services

Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

Complete all required documentation and actions in accordance to Company proced

Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation’s products and service

Comply with all Legal and company standards, such as code of conduct and H&S practices.

What you’ll need to succeed :

We are looking for a positive, energetic and enthusiastic person. Ideally you have :

Mechanical / Electrical qualifications

Technician degree level (ISTA)

Enty profile / Eligible for ANAPEC Contract

PLC knowledge or experience

Able to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams

Fault find and diagnostics of CANBUS Systems

Electrical fault finding

Quality orientated

Flexibility and adaptability

Excellent IT literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
