The overall purpose of the Community Manager will be to coordinate the social media strategy to boost visibility and customer / client engagement.

This involves managing the project’s online presence by developing a well thought-out strategy, producing inspiring content, analysing data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Interact with customers and fans in real time on various platforms and act as a liaison across the web and offline by participating in conversations, answering questions, offering solutions, and mediating
  • Create content for feeds and sparking discussion on various social networking sites.
  • Write blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
  • Candidates to be able to write content, captions, brainstorm with creative.
  • Create, manage and grow the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties
  • Plan corporate events and attend industry events and meetups to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Create strategic marketing / communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications
  • Use measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
  • Requirements :

  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Arabic / French / English speaker.
  • Design skills is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • HTML or CSS knowledge
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • A sharp wit
  • A knack for research
  • Innate curiosity for pop culture and industry and marketing trends
  • A willingness to work during nonstandard working hours
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
