Our client is a leading FMCG company with a strategic subsidiary in Morocco. Due to a new business set up the company now seeks a Global Buyer Investment to be based in Casablanca.
The Global Buyer Investments is part of the procurement team and reports to the Group Procurement Manager.
Define the procurement strategy for Capex and spare parts, as well as to standardize this process across all the group subsidiaries.
Standardize technical specifications and equipment in partnership with the technical department.
Lead the Suppliers Relationship Management and negotiating global contracts (Annual / Monthly basis) as well as equipment contracts including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) aligned with the Legal department.
Negotiate Price, Quality & Services in accordance with the group policies and values, and to work on Supplier Risk management (as minimum 2-3 suppliers per category).
Identify and manage new savings / cost avoidance opportunities for all CAPEX and spare parts investments.
Work in partnership with all Global Buyers by keeping constant communication and fluent collaboration with them to improve the procurement service within the group.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering, with at least 8 years of experience as a Global buyer, ideally in FMCG Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
Extensive experience in an international complex matrix environment.
An expert in strategic planning and resource allocation with a strong experience in worldwide complex negotiations with providers.
The candidate will have experience in asset and capital improvement, as well as spare part procurement.
English and French Proficiency.
Advanced user of office tools (MS OFFICE) especially excel (macros) / PowerPoint and knowledge of ERP systems, Power BI, SAP.
