Multivendor Services (MVS) Sales Lead is responsible for developing and selling Support Services for Multivendor systems (CISCO, Juniper, HP, SUN, EMC, .

  • in North Africa to major IBM customers or by identifying new clients in the region. He / She will be accountable for business unit sales and specific personal objectives, including contract signings, profit, expense, and customer satisfaction.
  • The MVS Sales Lead will :

    Lead large, multi-functional teams covering large and complex MVS opportunities and negotiate with the highest levels of customer management and responsible for the unit MVS sales strategy resulting in successful closing of the sales.

    Gather requirements and provide advice to sales and development executives.

    Assure that sales of MVS offerings meets assigned objectives in the country.

    Develop and maintain comprehensive / expert technical sales knowledge of MVS offerings, along with financial and selling skills in engaging and closing sales opportunities, that can be applied to opportunities across the business unit.

    Demonstrate required proficiency levels for technical and sales skills, as defined for incumbents in this position.

    Maintain in-depth knowledge of the management and / or sales processes, techniques, and tools associated with the specialty offerings, and guide others in their use.

    Identify and implement improvements to them. Examples of these techniques and tools include, but are not limited to, opportunity / territory management, cost justification, acquisition management, service business management and channel management processes.

    Maintain in-depth knowledge of competition's offerings, strategies, and plans. Effectively differentiate IBM offerings from competitive alternatives and creates customer preference for IBM offerings, based on that differentiation.

    Develop the strategies and tactics that will win the business, including teaming arrangement, alliances, subcontractors, competitive strategies, tactics and responses.

    Has overall responsibility for the final proposal to the client.

    Direct team resources to ensure appropriate quantity and quality of technical / services resources are deployed.

    Drive and manages an effective partnership with the clients through contact with executive management and individuals that influence the customers executive team.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 10 years Sales experience preferred and knowledge of IT & Services Market. At least 5 years in MVS
  • Experience closing complex deals & Contracts & Negotiations
  • Knowledge of Open sources and Networking Solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluent verbal and writing communication.
  • Understanding to the services scope and clients needs.
  • Good communication skills Arabic, French and English.
  • Reliability to fulfill the given tasks promised to clients and colleagues.
  • High flexibility.
