Our multicultural Payroll team is seeking for a Payroll Manager to join our FR Speaking countries' Payroll team.
We are looking for a strong leader that will take the ownership and drive the change in our growing payroll team.
This individual must be an experienced Payroll Tax and / or Social Insurance professional , who leads and structures the internal tax control system for payroll related business transactions across FR / MOR.
This new role is an exciting opportunity on managerial level to manage internal-external Payroll Tax and Social Insurance Audits covering the region.

As our FR speaking countries' Payroll Manager, you will be responsible to :
Manage, initiate and liaise with tax providers
Assist mobile employees in resolving tax matters related to their cross border or in-country assignment
Manage post transfer tax activities in alignment with mobility workflow
Support stakeholders for assignment tax and social security and pension structuring
Reviews payroll computations to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
Perform audits of payroll tax computation and compliance
Cooperate and / or drive continuous improvement projects related to payroll processing
Coordinate year end activities in cooperation with payroll provider
Leading a team up to 10 payroll analysts including hiring, developing and providing coaching
To build, inspire and motivate the team to raise the bar
To develop a professional payroll function which is scalable & flexible to meet the company needs
To liaise with key business partners and senior management (including directors and vice presidents) in order to align priorities and define best in class processes to serve Amazon’s employees
Accountable to meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs for the Spanish region
Accountable to ensure efficiency and efficacy of the internal controls over input and output data of the payroll systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of experience in FR / MOR Payroll processes & systems
Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labor code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations, RSUs, expatriate payroll)
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive
Root cause analysis
French and English language on advanced level or any other EU language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MS Office knowledge - especially advanced MS Access and MS Excel Office (VBA, macros)
Knowledge of SQL is advantage
Experience in leading projects
Team focused with particular ability to work across virtual teams
Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law (labor code), insurance, sickness processing, French and Moroccan pay calculation process
Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software, SAGE system
