The Marketing Manager MENEAT for Global Travel Retail (GTR) position is based in Casablanca (Morocco) and the incumbent will be responsible in the assigned regions and markets for the following key areas :

  • Lead the development of brand strategies and communication objectives based on the GTR directions.
  • Supervise brand activation plans for new launches, brand rejuvenation and Limited Edition Packaging (LEP), in line with GTR Equity guidelines with the Sales Managers for their assigned markets.
  • Supervise and support merchandising solutions per location based on GTR showcasing guidelines together with Sales Managers for their assigned markets.
  • Engage & align with domestic markets for their strategic plans and support, transfer this knowledge to integrate and support further the Marketing Plan objectives in the GTR environment for the relevant markets with Marketing MENEAT TR, Area Sales Managers (ASM), Regional Sales Director (as necessary), Sales Analyst & Planning Manager and GTR central teams when needed.
  • He / she will align plans for marketing activities with the MENEAT TR Marketing Lead, Regional Sales Director (as necessary), the GTR Marketing team and Sales operations, and later coordinate and drive the implementation of all marketing plans through Sales operations team to achieve GTR showcasing mission.


  • University degree or equivalent (required).
  • 5+ years in FMCG brand marketing experience incl. consumer / trade promotions management would be an advantage.
  • Fluent English (required).
  • Computer literate : Microsoft Office
  • Technical knowledge : Brand Management, Trade Marketing. Trade Merchandising, Shelf space / planogram management, Category management, Competitive intelligence, Negotiation skills, Basic financial skills, Brand price positioning indexing and management, External environment knowledge (taxation, trade pricing, corporate affairs, legal), Customer Service, Consumer Marketing Knowledge, Trade Research, Brand Communication (ATL / BTL), Trade Segmentation, Merchandizing Management, Key Account Management.
  • FUNCTIONS : Brand Management

    Brand Management

    Develop strategic, market specific brand plans and brand communication through the following enablers :

  • Impactful, consumer centric merchandizing solutions.
  • Domestic market internal plans and market trends.
  • Impactful, consumer centric brand activation for new launches, LEP and / or brand rejuvenation through traditional marketing or digital.
  • Portfolio Management

    Lead to develop relevant, optimised, consumer centric portoflio for each market through :

  • Understanding and implementing relevant domestic strategies.
  • Continously reviewing global trends, Duty Free category and develop relevant actions for assigned markets.
  • Assist in pricing strategy development, tailor made for markets, channels and brands as required.
  • Developing exclusive packaging.
  • Prepare New Product Development templates, Memo's and coordinate Post Implementation Assessments.
  • Retail Sales Consultants (RSC) Management

    Responsible to ensure clear, consistent Brand Communication through the best in class RSC by :

  • Assist in recruitment best in class Retail Sales Consultants.
  • Manage brand ambassador agencies, transferring centrally developed RSC program that ensures motivation, sales and consumer knowledge.
  • Ensure best-in-class training including knowledge materials is available for RSC Development.
  • Working with Global Indirect Procurement to continuously review agencies to ensure cost efficient and highest level of service.
  • Marketing Budget Management

    Develop and manage assigned marketing budget process to ensure timely, consistent, and integrated delivery of marketing plans.

    Manages plan requirements in alignement with Global Strategies, including detailed financial plannning of brand launches, LEP, communication & advertisement, brand activation, merchandizing and RSC.

    Deliver clear and consistent plan during Annual Planning process and provide updates as required.
