Howmet Aerospace is looking for Projects and Continuous improvement Manager for Casablanca Location

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and corresponding tasks to include : project estimates, status communications, and project schedules;
  • monitoring of individual track plans including periodic review with those responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of each project track

  • Independently organize and complete multiple projects to meet customers' expectations and imposed deadlines.
  • Use advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Oracle, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow to develop spreadsheets, graphs and convey information effectively across a wide range of task including daily / weekly reports, meeting agendas, PO tracking, SharePoint access, and project administration.
  • Assist in capital, project and operating budget preparation, tracks monthly progress, flags discrepancies and resolves with proper organization.
  • Compiles and provides progress reports.
  • Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support.
  • Lead Operational Excellence using CI principles, tools, methods, and techniques, in direct support of achieving business goals, improved performance, and decreased cost.
  • Lead the development of manufacturing strategy. Define the current condition of the facility to identify opportunities and create a target condition, with action plans to improve operational and financial results.
  • Utilize Hoshin framework to capture and manage execution of the strategic actions.

  • Identify, assess, facilitate, design, and coach implementation of CI methods, techniques, and procedures, including daily management, problem solving, TPM / OEE, 5S, visual management, work design and A3 improvement plans.
  • Use these tools to lead and facilitate continuous improvement.

  • Lead and coach others in determining specific measures of performance and productivity improvements. Provide training and consultative assistance for all levels of the organization.
  • Liaison with the BU and other plants to bring technology and best practices to the location. Communicate progress and successes within the location and within the business unit.
  • Maintain, compile, analyze, and report metrics of improvement projects.
  • Qualifications

  • Mechanical engineering degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience involved with driving for results and / or projects management and continuous improvement activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional analysis skills that will support the achievement of business strategies and goals
