Oracle Communications Applications Global Business Unit (CAGBU) represents Oracle in the communications software industry. Oracle CAGBU is responsible for the development, marketing, sales and consulting of Oracle Communications specific products, and leads Oracle’s strategy in the communications industry. The Applications Sales Representative position has been created to support the significant investment Oracle has and continues to make in the Communications market. This person will be responsible for selling the Oracle Communications products to Service Providers and Enterprise large named accounts in Morocco and West & French speaking Africa.

The successful applicant will be a hunter, ‘a supreme networker’, an incubator and nurturer of C level relationships – with the ability to create a marriage between the customer’s business problems/GTM strategies, and Oracle’s solutions portfolio. Building trust builds influence – can you bring value to their business?

Successful sales track record is a must, i.e. knowledge and experience in selling into Maroc Telecom, Inwi, Orange, Zain, Ooredoo, Tunisie Telecom, Mobilis, Moov, Inwi, Onatel, Expresso Group and other operators in West & French speaking Africa.

Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. 

Working in a matrix organization and knowledge of Oracle’s competitors. Interaction and relationship with C level players. 

Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. 

Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. 

Bachelor degree or equivalent.


Responsibilities:
• Finding and closing new opportunities around License and first year support and maintenance. 
• Selling additional products into existing clients. 
• Generate, manage and ensure a strong pipeline –making prospecting a part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects/opportunities are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis. 
• Accurate sales opportunity forecasting using a sales automation tool standardized within Oracle. 
• Meeting/exceeding set sales quotas while adhering to Oracle's sales rules of engagement. 
• Continually learning new products and acquiring better selling skills – participate in self-paced tutorial learning when appropriate. 
• Being well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the communications industry as a whole and also the territory specifics of this industry. 
• Selling additional products into existing clients. 
• Generate, manage and ensure a strong pipeline –making prospecting a part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects/opportunities are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis. 
• Accurate sales opportunity forecasting using a sales automation tool standardized within Oracle. 
• Meeting/exceeding set sales quotas while adhering to Oracle's sales rules of engagement. 
• Selling additional products into existing clients. 
• Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers like local Oracle Partners, Systems Integrators and or independent consultants. 
• Becoming familiar with Oracle’s Communications Partner relationships and leveraging these for new business sales.
• Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products. 
• Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows. 
• Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. 
• Preparing written presentations, reports and price quotations. 

• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. 
• Work closely within Oracle across multiple lines of the business and specialist products sales team in a matrix organization. 
• Work closely with technical presales consultants to build solution architecture
