Role Responsibilities :
Affect legislative and executive public policy outcomes by educating, persuading and negotiating directly with policy makers;
creating political allies; building coalitions; and utilizing the P&G Government Relations resources and expertise to achieve the company’s business objectives.
Build and maintain a broad and diverse network of relevant stakeholders; Government bodies / officials, Industry / Trade Associations in Morocco.
Monitor legislative developments and identify emerging issues to the company, and in coordination with management, develop company positions and priorities on public policy issues which impact P&G’s competitiveness.
Proactively build P&G's reputation with policy makers, as a leading and respectful corporate citizen.
Represent P&G in industry associations and participate in external events as needed.
Create a state of preparedness through effective issue / crisis planning that enables timely and effective action. Initiate and manage effectively issue or crisis teams, including internal and external resources, under a variety of challenging circumstances
Provide legal guidance with a strong focus on commercial matters and ensure all legal compliance requirements are met.
Oversee the drafting and negotiating of all applicable commercial agreements across the business with a focus on assisting our Sales department in the vetting and conclusion of contracts with P&G’s key customers.
Partner with various functions such as Sales, HR, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, on specific legal issues.
Oversee and provide strategic direction over disputes and litigation matters (including advertising complaints and labour disputes) and manage outside counsel as necessary.
Provide legal support for new product development and in-market execution.
Collaborate with P&G’s Compliance Department for the development and implementation of compliance processes, policies and training, including those related to the applicable competition and anti-corruption laws.
Work closely with the Brand Protection Team to support all legal initiatives related to the protection against counterfeit goods.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a reputable law firm or in the legal department of a large multinational corporation.
An L.L.M (Master en droit) degree.
Language skills :
Arabic, French & English
Background of government-relations experience can be useful
