Your responsibility as Head Of Sponsored Products will include :

Job Objectives

As Head of Sponsored Products at Jumia, you will be at the core of our monetization strategy.

Your main challenge will be helping our sellers to improve their business on Jumia through the use of Sponsored Products features.

You will, therefore, be able to shape the way we manage and animate thousands of sellers, using all levers to grow their business while improving their operational excellence and protecting the customer experience.

By being data-driven, you will be monitoring and supporting the different transformation plans and the Go-to-Market strategy related to Sponsored Products.

Management of the activity :

  • Implement strategies to increase the category fill rate.
  • Lead the execution of our marketplace monetization strategy.
  • Grow the adoption of Value Added Services across our managed accounts.
  • Managing the commercial performance related to Sponsored Products through
  • direct interaction with all the business lines

  • Monitor spend and Return on Investment to optimize overall efficiency of the
  • service.

    Expected background and technical skills :

  • Top Universities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to make strategic decisions.
  • Previous experiences in Business Development, Sales Management and Advertising would be highly valuable.
  • A successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements :

  • English & French speaking.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
