Serves as a technical expert with respects to pedagogical approaches to training delivery including the design and management of training programs.
Liaises with, and indirectly supervises, staff responsible for the training dimensions of AMIDEAST Morocco's programs with a particular focus on off-site projects.
Provides expert assistance and leadership in defining and continuously improving the training program's approach to training design and delivery.
Identify, develop scopes of work and supervise expert consultants in monitoring and evaluation to ensure AMIDEAST is able to demonstrate sufficient impact in training programs.
Conducts extensive planning and data analyses activities in overseeing the design and evaluation of training programs, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Serves as a recognized program and training authority, advises department and project managers on various training programs.
Assists in the drafting of budgets for training activities and monitors these expenditures throughout the fiscal year.
Ensures high quality and customer-service standards in the monitoring of training programs.
Assists the Country Director in proposal development and other business development initiatives that relate to training delivery and identify new training opportunities leading to new projects.
Assists with trainer / consultant recruitment, including the development of scopes of work and assures that deliverables have been met prior to payment.
Identify experts who can design training curricula based on the needs of defined target training audiences and ensure that all curricula are updated, incorporating current information, research, and knowledge
Provides regular and frequent communication on all training related issues and works with relevant staff to provide recommendations on solutions pending challenges.
Develops plans for implementing short and long-range training goals as part of the strategic planning process lead by the Country Director.
Assists the Country Director to foster cooperative relationships with key clients and funders, including OCP, Foundation Phosboucraa and the U.S. Embassy.
Masters degree in education or other relevant discipline
At least 6 years of work experience in leadership roles associated with training delivery.
Fluency in French, Arabic and excellent spoken English
In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning and coaching)
Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment
Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting
Excellent communication and leadership skills, including demonstration of working within a team environment where specific deliverables were expected
