Summerof responsabilities :
Reportingto the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functionsinclude but are not limited to the following :
Control the reservation(dates of arrival, departure, possible documents : voucher,)
Control of payment terms(credit card, voucher, other ...)
Control of the distributionof rooms in case of group reception;
Response to the clientduring the stay on practical issues, tourist...
Treatment of possibledisputes;
Information on the servicesoffered by the hotel;
Management of the invoice ofthe arrival at the departure of the customer;
Management and closing ofclient accounts;
Management of cash funds andcash passes;
Holding of the secretariatof the reception;
Promotion of hotel products;
Information about the hotelenvironment and local resources;
Communication with otherdepartments, including the floors;
Transmission of orders andorders to the departments concerned;
Optimize the occupancy rateand turnover;
Move easily from onelanguage to another;
Other tasks, as assigned.
Previous experience in a front office position;
Proficiency in French and English;
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications is preferred;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills;
Particularly responsible and reliable;
Theability to work in a team;
Ability to focus on customer needs, staying calm and courteous at all times.
