General Description

Information Technology (IT) Assistants - work within Information Technology Solutions (ITS) teams and provide general IT client support and training to staff in Rabat Office. The general

  • description for this position is as follows;
  • Ability to provide basic IT assistance.

    Ability to determine and evaluate possible solutions to operating errors.

    Has full understanding of the processes involved with installing and maintaining hardware and software.

    Familiarity with industry standards, controls and best practices on IT services management and information security.

    Responsibilities :

    Maintains desktop and laptop computers, printers, software applications, copiers, telephone systems and other information / office technology within a work area to ensure that all

    IT-dependent activities continue to function without disruption.

    Configures desktop and laptop computers with applications for staff use in office or for official travel.

    Provides clients with computer and network support in response to specific requests related to various systems software and hardware, printing problems, computer viruses, network

    connection and usage and other IT-related matters.

    Troubleshoots non-complex hardware and / or software problems. Responds to clients' requests for help, diagnoses problems, and identifies the appropriate resource to solve the problem

    if unable to resolve it him / herself.

    Provides support for hardware and / or software use.

    Manages equipment inventory which includes keeping complete and accurate inventory records, ensuring proper charges for maintenance, local area network charges, IT support, etc.

    Ensures that organization systems information and information systems are protected in a manner consistent with organization systems information security policy, procedures and


    Disseminates information about changes in the systems and technology standards and policies.

    Identifies, initiates, supports and documents procedures and guidelines that have been used repeatedly to improve work processes and methods relating to client services delivery and

    effective team functioning.

    Provide support for office setup, move or expansion of IT infrastructure and communication links.

    Assist visiting mission staff in accessing the network and email.

    Setup, configure, and maintain video-conference, audio-visual equipment and other electronic devices for presentations or conferences.

    Any other job assigned by Location IT Team lead on need basis.


    4 years college in relevant field minimum

    Minimum Years of Relevant Experience : 2 Years minimum

    Language preference : English (reading writing and speaking)
