Currently we have the opportunity for a dynamic Clinical Application Specialist IGT-D (Image Guided Therapy Devices) to join our team and to be based in Casablanca, Morocco or Cairo, Egypt and support our Francophone Africa market.
You will be reporting to the Market Sales Leader MET & Africa As a Clinical Application Specialist IGT you will you have the opportunity to provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
You will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications / solutions.
You may build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and / or product demo for client.
May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and / or product capability assessment and validation.
Ensures that the product application / solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
Your are responsible for : Setting up application training schedules, in close cooperation with the customer Training customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the delivered devices (re-
Training hospital staff in case of new releases and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment Ensuring that all customers are provided with high quality training and attention so that each customer is fully satisfied with the attention received from Philips Healthcare (PH) Report to PH on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment Responsible for delivering customized (competency based) training material pack if / when required Supporting user group meetings if / when required Conducting regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction Supporting and advise the sales force during acquisition Staying "on track" with the new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations.
In the event of hazards or accidents, to take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office Ensuring that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience : Medical / CathLab Background.
Knowledge of interventional X-Ray (iXR) and Surgery X-Ray highly preferred 2-5 years’ experience on using post processing tools and advanced applications.
Previous experience as an Application Specialist is a plus. Previous experience with Philips systems is a plus. Winners mentality, will only accept a #1 position in the market.
Strong communication skills. Ability to utilize problem-solving, critical thinking and priority-setting skills. Speaking, understanding and writing fluently English and French in addition to local language (is a must).
Teaching experience in a clinical environment preferred. Ability to travel extensively (50%).
