Our client owns and operates franchise restaurants. It provides branded fast food products through the the MENAP region.
The statutory reporting and treasury assistant manager will :
Prepare and report the full set of financial statements, for management and statutory purposes;
Prepare and report all the required disclosures and presentations of the financial statements;
Manage the audit process with the external auditors and assure meeting reporting and submission timelines;
Ensure compliance with Moroccan GAAP for local reporting, and the IFRS for group reporting;
Have the ability to recommand proper accounting treatments for unusual cases and / or transactions;
Establish relevant processes and polices for treasury function;
Work closely with management to understand business's cash requirements, and prepare the cashflow forecast accordingly;
Evaluate, analyze, and recommend new banking opportunities;
Prepare and track treasury related reports showing actual and forecast figures to explain the company's liquidity and financial stability;
Evaluate the optimal utilization of cash position;
Review and analyze financial agreements.
the successful Statutory reporting and Treasury Assistant Manager will have :
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and financial reporting, including experience with an audit firm in audit and assurance services and / or experience with a multinational company;
Expertise in local Moroccan GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required;
ERP knowledge, preferably Oracle;
Able to manage the relevant tasks at local level and for group's requirements;
Proficiency in french, english and arabic languages.
