WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a flexible and dynamic Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll support our Regional Recruiting Team in the targeted recruiting of outstanding candidates with industry and consulting experience (Experienced Hires) for our offices in EMESA.

As this is a newly established team you will play a key role in establishing appropriate processes for talent research. Your position within the talent research team is of special importance as you will be responsible for attracting the most senior candidates for our Practice Areas.

Internally you will act as a mentor for more junior team members and provide them with functional leadership and support.

You will advise our Practice Area leads on their top level recruiting needs and collaborate closely with them during the search projects.

Given the high visibility of your work for our senior leadership, you will quickly establish the necessary trust-based relationships and networks.

You should also act as a go-to person for top level candidates who will join BCG as Partner or senior ECT. Given the nature of this particular talent pool you will act with the utmost level of discretion.

You will have ownership of the search strategy, drive proactive outreach and initial candidate assessment, ensuring the continued flow of high quality candidates through the process.

In case any unforeseen circumstances develop during the hiring process you will be in charge of moderating the different stakeholder’s views and help deriving the best possible outcome.

As a communicative and open personality, you'll consistently support our internal practice areas on all questions regarding recruiting and you always keep your eyes focused on the optimal ways of delivering a task with top-notch quality and professionalism.

To ensure success you will also work closely together with local project leads and support them in hiring top talents for their local markets.

  • Your deep functional knowledge enables you to act as trusted advisor to the senior Practice Area leadership and senior candidates.
  • You conduct desk research and utilize a variety of sourcing methods to understand market trends and build a pipeline of talent for Executive hiring and conduct End to End Recruiting projects
  • You strategically and proactively leverage you market knowledge to fill most pressing business needs as well as understand the value in building a network / pipeline for future opportunities.
  • You always have the big picture in mind and are happy to advise your internal customers on all matters related to sourcing & recruiting based on your competitive intelligence knowledge.
  • Your communicative personality helps you get candidates enthused about BCG, you are able to gain their trust by acting as their talent advisor and by fostering eye-level relationship with them
  • Your previous experience enables you to support in various internal projects aimed at improving our internal assessment process
  • You like working as part of an international team and coming up with creative ideas together and providing overall input of strategic quality.
  • You're flexible, reliable, and motivated, and keep a cool head even in difficult situations thinking creatively and looking ahead at what needs to be done.

  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • You have a degree from a (vocational) college or university, ideally with a specialization in HR management or business psychology.
  • Minimum of eight years of talent sourcing & recruiting or commercial experience gained in a leading retained search or professional services environment, including a proven history of researching, identifying, and building quality talent pipelines.
  • Proven track record in guiding senior candidates (industry C-level, consulting MDP-Level) through a discrete hiring process, providing advice and forming a trust-based relationship
  • Expertise in establishing and further developing relevant processes to ensure the highest level of transparency
  • Track record in professional executive assessment
  • You're proficient in the use of MS Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • YOU'LL WORK WITH

    You'll be part of our interdisciplinary EMESA recruiting team located across Europe and the Middle East and report to the Talent Acquisition Manager, who will support you in your onboarding and personal development at the company.

    You will also always be able to draw upon the experience of your peers.
