Description

  • Examination of contracts and annexes before submission to contractors?
  • Interpreting contracts to assist other departments
  • Treatment and resoulution of the administrative and commercial problems related to each contract and make sure to submit them to the persons authorized for approval.
  • Meetings with the contractor on all business aspects and report on meetings.
  • Attend, lead and take notes at weekly progress meetings with entrepreneurs
  • Preparation, submission and follow-up of all change notices and amendments for approval by authorized persons.
  • Processing all correspondence
  • Follow-up, verification and approval of all contractor invoices
  • Follow up invoices until payment to ensure fast processing under the terms of the contract

    Using the pro-log software to maintain the following tasks :

  • Maintain the contractor correspondence log
  • Keep change log records
  • Maintain the certificate log of payment and invoices
  • Keep the claims log
  • Maintain the backcharge log
  • Keep insurance and warranty up-to-date.
  • Take the lead for contract close out
  • coordinating and issuing provisional certificate of acceptance
  • Prepare and deliver all contractual documents of the transfer to the customer
  • Follow-up of the reserve list
  • Builder evaluation and contract closure
  • Qualifications

    Education : BA or BS, or equal, preferred

    Years Experience : 3-4 minimum in supply management or related field.

    Overall Knowledge of Jacobs Business : Understands major technical, organizational, managerial and business issues related to operations management.

    Extensive knowledge of commercial procurement laws, practices, and standards as they relate to Jacobs operations management and project delivery.

    Understands and is committed to Jacobs’ Core Values.

    Project Delivery Knowledge : Understands project delivery processes (i.e., program management, construction management, CM / GC, design, design-

    build, design-bid-build) and their relationship to supply management delivery.

    Resources / Capabilities : Understands overall corporate resources and capabilities. Has working knowledge of division or regional operations, and of experience, staff and capabilities in region’s markets and operating areas of responsibility.

    Communications : Has strong communications and writing skills. Is able to effectively author contractual commitment documents, as well as internal and external communications.

    Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management.

    Systems : Uses personal computer in support of supply management including Supply Management software, electronic mail, and standard desktop software.
