Manages the customer relationship to deliver sales targets, increase revenue and customer satisfaction. Plans and executes demand generation activities working directly with the grower and channel partners.
Plans, places and executes pre-commercial trials as needed for crops in their geography. As needed, provides technical support / after sales, collects orders and follows-up on order fulfillment and payment.
Develops and implements annual sales plans including detailed actions with customers and channels
Expands the grower data base in their assigned sales / crop area
Maintains an in-depth understanding of the changing market trends and grower needs
Places pre-commercial trials with key growers following Product Development Specialist plan and report back trial results and variety performance
Launches new varieties with key growers and leverages results via demand generating activities with growers and channel partners
Organizes demand generation activities aligned with and following on the plan of the Marketing Operation Lead
Initiates and maintains contact with present customers (growers and dealers) and manages different accounts
Actively drives sales and collects orders, secures follow-up on orders and secures payments
Proposes annually the forecast for the commercial varieties and informs of potential forecast changes to the Commercial Unit Manager or Area Sales Manager
