Head of Cash and Clearing position is responsible for leading and supervising a medium sized unit of support employees, in coordination with TTS Client Operations team.

The overall objective of this role is to manage Cash and Clearing department, improve processes, interpret data, prepare reports, and minimize bank risk through ensuring adherence to audit and control policies and local regulations.

Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, operational risk identification, transaction processing and exception handling Integrate a solid understanding of industry and business standards and practices of transactions capture and all the related functions Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management in support of improving processes Solve complex problems or transactions independently, utilizing knowledge of policies, guidelines or processes, and escalate as needed Interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to management Design and analyze complex reports and make recommendations based on identified trends, facts, and policy gaps Minimize risk to the bank and provide solutions to reduce errors, and to adhere to audit and control policies Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

  • Oversight of local currency payments, cheque clearing; Follow closely transactions’ execution to reduce overall time required to process the transactions;
  • Timely escalation and resolution of customer inquiries Qualifications : 5+ years relevant experience Demonstrated people management, leadership and development skills Demonstrated project management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills Education : Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience Job Family Group : Operations - Transaction Services Job Family : Transaction Capture Services Time Type : Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
