Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services.

It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia’s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit.

This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

Job Description

At CNS we are looking for a Technical Care Specialist (Cloudband) to join our global team and to be based in Salé, Morocco.

This vital role requires both in-depth & wider Cloud technology experience in customer facing environment as well as a good understanding on the critical activities performed in CLOUD.

To be successful on this role you must enjoy working on challenging technical problems and demonstrate passion for solving problems with innovative and robust solutions.

You will be actively looking for ways to automate and simplify complex processes, by thinking ahead on future and present needs, being thorough and detail-oriented, and by navigating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and maintain a high level of skills in telco cloud’ through training and technology watch (follow up on evolutions, open source activities, standardization).
  • Cloud utilization analysis & optimization
  • Cloud operational assessment & remediation
  • Ensures documentation and implementation of best practices / learnings (as received from other Market CTs and Global Customer contacts
  • Debugging of problems : identifying and viewing logs, compare / contrast, investigation
  • Responsible for multiple large scale complex platforms and be expected to keep new product offerings on track Maintain functional and technical requirements
  • Respond to and manage customer / internal escalations
  • Get involve in early solution phase and ensure to provide and receive constructive feedback and maintain healthy relationship with stakeholders
  • Be able to communicate about Cloud issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner both to internal and external customer
  • Identify relevant specific components and interfaces needed for a cloud infrastructure & virtualization platform.
  • Storage : manage, create, investigate performance issues, and debug.
  • Requirements & Qualifications :

    Must have :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant engineering / science fields or relevant work experience.
  • Overall 5+ years of experience
  • 2+ years Technical Support experience with strong debugging skills : identifying and viewing logs, compare / contrast, investigation
  • Practical working experience with Linux distributions (RHEL, CENTOS etc).
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing and Virtualization
  • Basic knowledge of IP Networks, data centers, web servers
  • Efficient / Fluent spoken and written English is a must
  • Knowledge and experience in the telecommunication domain and / or telecommunication management domain.
  • Storage : manage, create, investigate performance issues, and debug.
  • Experience with tcpdump and have networking skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Must be a self-learner with the ability independently investigate and learn new technical topics and solution.
  • Nice to have :

  • Experience in Telco cloud (e.g. ETSI MANO, OpenStack, SDN, Open-O, ONAP,SRIOV,OVS, DPDK)
  • Cloud Certification
  • Familiarity with NFV technologies
  • Systems Architecture or Systems Engineering, Cloud, Network Operation
