Position Description :

This is a Project Management role, as a part of Operations Support Program which is implemented globally by all BUs and SBUs of CGI.

The candidate will be working directly with the Project Director.

The Program’s objectives are :

  • Definition of a standard global operating model that clearly positions the role and value of Operations Support
  • Creation of a globally consistent core scope of services and associated interaction models
  • Globalization of existing automation solutions to improve the delivery efficiency, and an associated roadmap for future automations
  • Implementation of global best practices and tooling to support more complex activities
  • Definition of a clear governance for evolution of Operations Support
  • Creation of further capacity for Operations Leaders to focus on business development, client engagement and member management.
  • Your future duties and responsibilities :

  • Create the project management plan, Work Breakdown Schedule, and lead the project teams
  • Plan and lead process workshops and meetings with the different stakeholders, moderate debates and document final decisions
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables
  • Provide regular reports to project stakeholders and senior management
  • Complete and review the engagement form (e.g. scope of service, date of commencement of service, pricing, etc.)
  • Ensure engagement approval and sign-off
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • Manage large projects, including but not limited to process and change management implementation minimum 5 years.
  • Familiarity with Service Management Processes (Change Management and Release Management in particular)
  • Very good communicator, sensitive to potential change management issues
  • Non-confrontational, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Must be comfortable with reporting and discussing with different levels of management
  • Proactive, interactive, tenacious, persistent and lead both technical specialists and local management.
  • Beneficial to be fluent in English and French, oral and written.
  • ITIL experience (Accreditation will be considered an asset)
