Responsibilities :

  • Manage all administrative and financial systems and procedures, such as budgeting, financial reporting, processing payments, and reconciliations, necessary for the implementation of technical and administrative activities related to the project.
  • Work closely with MSI Home Office to ensure smooth transfer of information through QuickBooks and all other relevant systems;
  • review support documentation for accuracy and timely forwarding to MSI HQ, including monthly FERs and vouchers.

  • Operate and coordinate administrative tasks and ensure overall compliance with MSI, Creative, USAID, and Moroccan Government policies and procedures by all staff.
  • Maintain updated personnel files, contracts, and related materials for all field staff and maintain electronic and physical files organized and up to date.
  • Lead logistics related to staff and project activities.
  • Support the technical team and the Project Manager to track the local budget and expenses.
  • Lead and oversee procurement so that equipment, supplies, and services are obtained quickly, efficiently, cost-effectively, and according to laws and regulations.
  • Attend to other administrative and management requests made by the M&E Specialist and PM
  • Support translation of documents from / to English / French as needed.
  • Support the Technical team in preparing and carrying out programmatic technical activities for EGRA Endline, capacity building workshops, results presentation workshop and other activities
  • Lead operations and logistics during preparation of activities, and lead logistical supervision during workshops
  • Assist the M&E specialist with his / her data collections’ supervision tasks from the various stakeholders in the NPR project : Directors, inspectors, teachers, parents, associations, and students.
  • This data collection will be done through focus groups, individual interviews, questionnaires, check-lists, and observation protocols;
  • Assist the M&E Specialist with participants’ coordination (written and verbal)
  • Assist the M&E Specialist with language quality control for presentations, reports and letters
  • Assist the M&E Specialist with data entry and database management
  • Observing and reporting to HO : situations, risks, concerns, and events for risk-management on the field concerning MSI staff, office, data collection team, and country context).
  • Also includes ensuring COVID-19 precautions are implemented in the field, including the preparation of training protocol on COVID-19 measures and COVID-19 training material distribution.

  • Coordinate staff and field team or field context security / health updates.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as may be assigned by the COP
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years experience in Administration / Finance, preferably for development projects or donors.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the proven ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in teams in a multi-cultural context
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills in a full range of software, including : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
