Job Description

Believe is looking for an Editorial and Marketing Partnerships Manager to join its MENA team. The selected candidate will be working with Believe key digital retail partners across the region.

He / She will report to the Head of Artist Services for the Maghreb. The selected candidate will follow-up and coordinate, in conjunction with MENA entity, front-line marketing initiatives for Believe extensive regional and international new release schedule and catalogue.

He / she will ensure that Believe’s releases receive maximum coverage on digital services and that artists get the best Marketing opportunities, notably by optimizing promotional information and implementing best practices with our local partners.

The Editorial and Marketing Partnerships will help grow the relationships with key retailers in MENA. He / She will cover the Artist Services business line activities in the Maghreb.

Main missions include :

Proactively promoting Believe New Releases and back catalog on key digital stores

  • Handle day to day relationships with DSPs : set up and follow communication processes and tools.
  • Drive strategic pitches to ensure Believe’s repertoire receives maximum promotion and exposure.
  • Develop strong knowledge in playlisting and on-store promotion strategies.
  • Pitch in local markets international priority releases set by central teams.
  • Develop market share and revenues.
  • Attend regular internal and external meetings and keep track of the action points.
  • Develop and execute marketing partnerships with DSPs

  • Imagine, build and deploy innovative marketing campaigns with DSPs in coordination with Believe teams.
  • Reporting and Performances

  • Deliver Editorial and Marketing reports weekly to all teams via the internal tools in a timely manner.
  • Monitor KPIs and analyze performance.
  • Local Communication management in coordination with central guidelines

    Market knowledge

  • Support sales team in formalizing EMP services offered to prospects.
  • Track and share new tools and market updates with sales teams.
  • Prepare and present case studies to internal teams.
  • Execute quarterly set OKRs with Manager


  • A minimum of 3 years experience in digital marketing or working with digital music services.
  • Good knowledge of the current Maghreb music market landscape and trends.
  • Good knowledge of digital music services in Maghreb.
  • Creativity and Marketing ability to imagine creative marketing campaigns to develop engagement with DSPs.
  • A keen and creative interest in digital technologies and digital marketing opportunities.
  • A strong sense of priorities and responsibility.
  • A genuine passion to work in the music industry.
  • A passionate, diligent self-starter.
  • Friendly nature and good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and results driven.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to work alone and be pro-active.
  • Arabic, English & French languages are a must.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
