DC Channel PreSales Engineer

Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical consultancy during the sales process.

They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations through to pricing and availability.

Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.

What you’ll achieve

As an Inside Presales engineer , you will deliver technical solutions that address customers’ varying needs, either working on your own or with a subject matter expert on more complex solutions.

You will :

  • Responsible for Infrastructure Solutions Group portfolio ( Server , Storage and Networking)
  • Acts as internal technical POC - answers day to day technical configuration / compatibility questions and helps solve post sales concerns to trigger Partner Preference
  • Provide Cross sell / Up-sell support in a complete solution sales approach to help generate incremental revenue streams based on the ISG portfolio
  • Partners enablement on Tools (e.g. OSC, Sizing tools), Products and solutions and getting the Partner Ready to Sell on the ISG portfolio
  • Executes global Sales plays / initiatives to augment pipeline on Infrastructure Solutions Group portfolio and Actively participate to core 4 planning and coordination initiatives (technical account planning, partner development action plan assessment / execution)

    Essential Requirements

  • An in-depth understanding of IT technology products and services
  • Good analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, and solid customer relationship skills
  • Fluent in French, English is a plus
  • Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role / Sales / Training role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT or a related discipline, as well as IT Certifications : MCSA / ISMv4 / VMware VTSP are a plus
