Your Role :

The role of the Account Manager for our LifeScience BioProcessing MEA Team is to continually and consistently increase market share and revenues by collaborating with pharmaceutical and biotech customers and prospects to solve their unique challenges.

This sales role will primarily be focused on North Africa. As a member of the BioProcessing MEA team, you will sell a broad portfolio of products and services including but not limited to upstream process chemicals, cell culture media and supplements and mammalian cell lines.

  • You will create value for both the customer and our Team by strategically manage projects and resources to ensure long term profitable growth;
  • increase our market share; emphasize differentiation from our competitors; and build upon our corporative reputation for excellence within your territory.

    This field-based role will require 50% travel within territory and to our sites to optimize customer engagement and encourage continuous learning.

    The main responsibilities include : ensure sales targets are achieved by gaining market share and seeding our products in the customer’s pipeline.

    Develop a detailed strategic plan to manage your territory. Identify your customer’s needs / goals / challenges and provide solutions to fulfil their needs.

    Coordinates and participates in customer audits, technical visits and lunch-n-learn program. Lead and organize internal partners to support your customers and provide accurate, detailed forecasts for your territory.

    Who you are :

    You have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a Life Science, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering) or similar discipline

    You have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in either the Life Sciences sales targeting manufacturing customers (B2B) or operational environment within a pharmaceutical manufacturer (production / quality supervisor)

    You have experience in the Biologics manufacturing environment (for human and / or human use) is a clear plus to be considered for this position

    You have a working knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical and biotech drug production processes / unit operations for upstream and downstream processes

    Strong negotiation skills, ability to network and build and maintain strong relationships, credibility, influence and trust

    Ability to work closely with functional support organizations to effectively achieve goals

    You are fluent in English
