Business development : Manages and grows the revenue for a book of accounts utilizing all of HUB’s capabilities and value added services.
Acquires understanding of clients’ objectives and critically analyzes and compares plans to determine suitability.
Identify trends, market & consumer needs for target segments or customers
Generate new leads, screen potential business opportunities, lead and facilitate pitch logistics
Establish & execute go-to-market plans aligned with the company’s strategy
Be involved in test-marketing of new concepts, product launch and generation of first sales
Manage driver's on-time-performance (OTP) expectations (i.e. freight is picked up and delivered as scheduled).
Be in contact with the operations department in order to assure transport is delivered on timeAccurately communicate to the operations department when challenged to meet the driver's needs / expectations.
Provide business updates for assigned accounts to leadership on a routine basis.
Use the Sales CRM in order to have all the clients information up to date REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
4-5 years experience as an Account Manager within Transport / Industrial / Logistic industry.
Ability to establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
Outstanding communication skills.
Effectively copes with change and is energized by tough challenges.
Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and timely decision making. Identifies options including the short and long term impact on business operations.
