Hotel Overview :

Summer of responsabilities :

Reporting to the HousekeepingSupervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to the following :

  • To offer a professional andendearing service;
  • Clean all assigned rooms,including dusting, making beds, removing dirty linen from bedrooms andretrieving clean linen from the closets, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom,cleaning windows, refilling the rooms ;
  • Sign a register daily whenmaster keys are entrusted and returned;
  • Ensure the proper use ofcleaning products and equipment;
  • Update and record the listof all clean rooms;
  • Properly label all lostitems and return them to the housekeeping office;
  • Comply with the department'spolicies, procedures and service standards;
  • Report items requiringmaintenance;
  • Comply with all health andsafety policies;
  • Other tasks, as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Previousexperience in housekeeping is an asset;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills;
  • Particularly responsible and reliable;
  • Ability to work in a team with reduced supervision;
  • Ability to focus on customer needs, staying calm and courteous at all times;
  • Physical Aspects of Position(include but are not limited to) :

    Constantstanding and walking throughout shift

    Occasionallifting and carrying up to 20 lbs

    Occasionalkneeling, pushing, pulling

    Occasionalascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
