Location and start of fixed-term contract
Local & fixed-term contract (6 months, based in Casablanca, Morocco), starting from September 2018 the latest.
Create value through managing and delivering continuous & adhoc researches which significantly help Bel make the optimum marketing and business decisions
Identifies & refines research needs according to specific marketing / business request & carry out research studies, optimizing tools, methodology & budget
To provide partnership to the marketing teams in the interpretation of research results & ensures recommended actions are in line
Participates actively to BEL CMI community & increase impact and influence of the department within the factory and with countries
Contributes to strategic thinking with the Marketing Factory brand teams & the local marketing teams
Understands competitor and Bel brands' key DNA, priorities, issues, country specificities and can highlight knowledge gaps
Participates and creates strategic business summaries which accurately display & explain market performance with recommended actions
Develops transversal topics (learnings & implications) to link together brand / market issues
Feeds local & MEGA marketing with market, consumer, competitor insights : actively contributes to identification of consumer & market insights + translation into business actions
Ensures the partnership between key agencies is maintained to the highest level
Identifies & refines research needs according to specific marketing / business issue. Executes research studies, optimizing tools, methodology & budget
Understands & challenges Marketing needs for research, objectives and how the findings will be used
Monitoring and enhancing the quality of Retail audits + Brand trackers and aim to add continual improvements & undertandings
Advancing the usage of brand trackers across the different stakeholders
Recommends best research methodologies / approach per business & research objectives
Delivers monthly reports for retail audit & brand tracker. Identify key changes emerging in the market
Organizes & hosts a bi-annual marketing forum for the local team and present key developments relevant to the business
Optimises Quality-time-cost relationship ratio & strive for synergies to drive marketing efficiencies
Challenges / supports marketing teams in the interpretation results & ensures recommended actions are in line
Makes sure Research presentations & key executive summaries are clear & straight to the point and have an overall business focus
Anticipates & identifies issues in retail audit & brand tracker to ensure continual optimum outputs
Aligns brand teams on key summaries, isights, and outputs of the researches
Makes sure that articulation of next steps in a defined project, or key initiative development (comm / inno) key learnings from researches are taken into account
Participates actively to BEL CMI community & increase impact and influence of the Department within the factory and with countries
Contributes to animate CMI network through exchange of best practices (tools - guidelines & processes)
Fosters close relationships and exchanges with other CMI experts within the organisation, and to encourage steal with pride

Qualifications and experience
1) Minimum education level and / or equivalent professional experience needed :
This position requires a solid market research / marketing competencies (minimum 4 years) as :
1 - the job holder must have solid market research competencies to perform in this position (experience in Agencies or Clientside preferred) and experience of retail audit reporting & brand health tracking
2 - must have the necessary business / marketing knowhow & credibility to deal Mass Marketing Team (Paris), local Marketing Teams (Casablanca & Paris) and Sales functions
2) Specific skills or qualifications (foreign languages, software skills, technical skills, ) :
Strong ad hoc research (qualitative and quantitative) & retail audit skills
Strong marketing skills including consumer insights, concept development and brand development tools
Ability to synthesise and communicate complex consumer, marketing and business information
Fit with required CMI personality and "values" : Curiosity, Drive, positivity, honesty, ability to overcome obstacles, simplification, accountability, high engagement levels
Ability to think out of the box and challenge dogmas & preconceived truths, autonomy, strong influencing skills
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with strong collaborative spirit
