We offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Business Controller to be part of our management team and support Atlas Copco business in Morocco,West and central Africa.
This role requires an experienced, strategic, energetic and results-orientated individual.
The successful candidate will lead the control and guidance of our company financial results and administration. This includes forecasting, analysis, and providing support to the General Manager and other departments.
The key priorities for the Business Controller are to take leadership in implementation, structure and drive of the Business Control and administrative processes within Atlas Copco Maroc.
The overall demand is to safeguard alignment with "The way we do things" and "Business Code of Practice". This should be driven by implementation and follow up of a clear Business Control structure, plans and actions as well as constant development and improvements of efficient processes.
Through accurate, relevant and timely business & financial analysis, support the GM in making effective business decisions.
Secure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group processes are implemented.
To participate in business activities and thereby actively contribute in developing the business in accordance with the strategy and targets.
To raise "red flags" to operational and / or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk.

Responsibilities and objectives
Taking leadership of the development, implementation and follow up of administrative processes and financial reporting standards for Atlas Copco.
Safeguard that reporting procedures are in line with "The way we do things" as well as local laws and regulations, and that an open communication with internal and external parties is maintained.
Responsible for the development and implementation of company’s standards for reporting and forecasting processes, procedures and tools.
Provide a Pro-active review and transparent analysis of the Business trends. Pro-actively review and analyze the consolidated GP, market contribution and market efficiency.
Create a solid expectancy process / forecast comparing it with the actual.
Raise "red flags" to management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk.
Promote transparency in facts and figures to ensure a decision process based on adequate and objective information.
Assist the Management members in operational reviews and local audits.
Being in close cooperation with the Sales, After Sales and Logistics departments.
Ensure that appropriate risk awareness and internal control procedures are in place and that external and internal auditors get necessary support.
Providing first in class tools and analyses to the management to support our ambitious targets.
Responsibilities further include assets management, inventories and receivables.
Establishing, executing and controlling the local company accounting policy.
Develop local chart of accounts.
Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in ERP system records, documents and reports.
In charge of the daily bookkeeping operations.
Responsible for physical archiving and ERP system.
Approves / close all transactions in ERP system ledgers General Ledger, Sales and Service module, Purchase ledger and Stock ledger and determine proper handling of transactions.
Oversee tax compliance, keeping abreast of changes in regulations and legislation.
Develop, maintain, implement and upgrade systems, databases and controls.
Monitoring cash flow. Examine, evaluate and process loan applications and financial instruments
Develop external relations with auditors, banking institutions, organizations, suppliers and other external parties.
Analyze and classify risks and coordinate insurance programs.
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
Assist the legal responsible in managing the legal aspects of the business.
Must have a solid knowledge and experience of Finance, administration procedures and information systems.
Proven track record in focus on quality, accuracy and working to deadlines.
Ability to develop management reports and other relevant management information
Experience working with Atlas Copco reporting according to FAM is a plus
Audit experience is a plus
Knowledge and educational requirements
Group’s accounting principles, IFRS, cost accounting and local statutory rules.
Local accounting / fiscal rules.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes application, BPCS, SAP and / or other ERP system
Fluent in Arabic,French and English both oral and written.
University degree in Finance, business administration or equivalent
Certified to conduct Accounting controls according to local legislation and regulation
