As a Software Engineer within our Research AI group you will work on the most cutting-edge and exciting projects where you will help to design and create state of the art AI systems that will impact the world.
You will interact with the brightest minds in AI and will help bring AI research ideas into scalable, robust systems. We want to bring out the best in you and expect you to do the same to us.
Your proactive approach to creative problem solving will be essential to the success of our team and the company.
This person will work on a systems level to create and maintain large backend systems. They should have a passion for c reating and coding algorithms in the computer science domain.
They will be responsible for designing an d developing novel and robust architectures, components, and APIs for the rest of the team to use.
Can implement fundamental algorithms and data structures (e.g., regular expressions, syntactic parsing, search algorithms, hashing, graph data structures) but also can innovate in this space
Knows how to code in C, Python, and Bash
Can create SQL and NoSQL databases
Basic understanding of design patterns
Basic understanding of software engineering
Can setup servers to handle a high computational load
At least two years of experience as a software engineer or several internships as a software engineer
Can setup a DevOps pipeline
Can code close to the Linux system level
Can create and use Docker containers to deploy prototypes
Understands how to implement basic security precautions
Knows how to code in one esoteric language
Has several side projects or has participated in hackathons
