For our entity in Morocco, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager Pharma Solutions Northwest Africa to join the BASF team based in Casablanca.
Your main roles and activities :
market and sell the Company’s products to optimize profit and market share
acquire new customers and identify and / or develop new applications
truly understand customer needs / requirements and find the adequate solutions
Manage customer portfolio (e.g. Tier 1 / 2 / 3, distributor management etc.)
maintain and develop customer relationship
prepare bottom-up budget in line with the regional strategies and responsible Business Management
monitor sales budgets, taking corrective action where necessary
accurate on-time reporting (e.g. visit report, monthly report, forecast, opportunity pipeline etc. according to SBU requirements)
operational guidance and support of the relevant Customer Sales Officers (CSO’s)
Prepare comprehensive local market analysis with focus on market demand, market shares etc.
create, implements and updates sales concepts for the relevant industry field(s), taking SBU strategies and the local / sub regional characteristics into account
supports the local / regional implementation of cross-regional projects, sponsored by BU
contribute the effective communication between BASF and local market (e.g. introduction new product), within BASF considering inclusion of diversity
coordinate product and customer interest to achieve long-term customer loyalty
What we expect :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field (Pharma / Food industry) of at least 5 years
Work experience in Sales and / or Marketing in relevant industry field is preferred
Fluent English and French (written and oral), a second foreign language is preferred
