Your main responsibilities in this role will include :

  • Partnering with local and regional management teams on a broad range of HR related topics and ensuring HR aspects of the business strategy are addressed effectively
  • Managing the full employee life-cycle at the location, including recruitment, promotions, relocations and terminations, in accordance with employment law and contractual obligations
  • Acting as the main point of contact and maintaining professional relations with local service providers and local government authorities
  • Leading negotiations with relevant employee delegates on terms and conditions as required
  • Managing employee grievances and disciplinary cases
  • Working to improve and maintain a positive employee relations atmosphere on site
  • Participating in diverse large-scale HR projects
  • Leading local talent talks with managers and ensuring goals & development plans are in place, while finding opportunities to upskill talent where necessary
  • Handling local payroll with external provider
  • The Candidate

    To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following :

  • University degree / diploma or equivalent in HR related field
  • 1-3 years of broad / generalist HR experience working in an international, matrixed environment
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR practices in a production environment
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Performance and results oriented
  • Fluency in Arabic and English required. French is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level in MS software package (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • SAP experience preferred
