The Product Specialist SRI Analyst in the Investors Services division contributes to the production of clients’ Portfolio Analytics and Portfolio Screening as well as the delivery of Unlisted Asset Ratings, analysis based on client-specific methodologies, and Engagement Services.
The Unlisted Asset Rating is a report analysing small companies’ ESG performance based on a methodology tailored to such entities and supplemented by engagement with rated companies.
The report is used by investors in their dialogues with smaller companies.
Portfolio Analytics comprise reports that provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of the ESG or climate performance of a portfolio.
The client base for Portfolio Analytics are asset owners; the report is a key instrument for their engagement with asset managers and companies as well as a reporting tool to meet existing and emerging regulatory and policy requirements.
Analyse relevant companies’ documentation on ESG policies and practices
Conduct interviews with companies to clarify and / or complete the documentation
Rate the companies and prepare the company’s profile according to the V.E methodology or client-specific methodology
Produce quantitative and qualitative summary portfolio analytics for clients’ portfolios
Conduct qualitative analysis for detailed portfolio analytics
Prepare final Portfolio Analytics reports
Provide a quantitative Excel screening of clients’ portfolios according to the V.E methodology framework and tailored to clients’ requests, as needed
Produce engagement letters to target companies on behalf of investor clients
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in the Social Responsible Investments (SRI) or ESG field
Robust understanding of V.E ESG methodology and analytical tools
Knowledge of corporate social responsibility and SRI themes covered by the MESGS rating framework
Excellent writing and communication skills in English and another language would also be advantageous
Analytical, synthesis, and critical thinking skills critical for preparing Portfolio Analytics and evaluating the ESG performance of companies
Expertise in and experience with Microsoft Office tools, with particular emphasis on strong Excel capabilities
Abilities to work independently, effectively juggle multiple priorities, and meet strict delivery timelines
