Job Purpose Overview
Hotel Representatives are the face of Meeting Point and represent our company to our many guests. They provide guests with information and support during their stay to ensure that they have amazing holiday memories.
Hotel Representatives also support the business through the sale of in-destination products and services.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Visit guests in hotel as per scheduled timings and provide engaging and informative welcome meetings with up to date information
Handle travel problems, complaints or refunds in coordination with the supervisor
Coordinate with operations team to assure services provided are punctual
Answer clients queries via telephone or mail on time and notify supervisor of the same
Maintain polite and formal dialogue with guests at all instances
Provide full, accurate information about the destination, use promotional techniques and materials (brochures, discounts) to sell tour packages
Maintain an in-depth knowledge on all offered excursions from all destinations including timings and pricing
Determine clients’ destination preferences and advise them on appropriate service and cost
Sell excursions and related services. Provide information about all pre-booked excursions.
Process bookings from guests through POS and take payments made via credit card, cash, cash vouchers
When required fulfil the duties of an Airport Representative
Your Skills and Abilities :
Diploma or High School with a Certificate
0-2 years of experience in a relevant industry OR 2-4 years of experience in a relevant industry and on-job practical training
Excellent communications skills, English is a must
A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate Meeting Point service standards
Can work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and / or holidays
Ability to travel to current to meet guests around the city
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Effective communicator both written and verbally
