Forum AZZAHRAE for Moroccan Women (FAFM) is a Moroccan human rights organisation operating on women and family issues. It oversees a network of 114 NGOs working on strengthening the capacities of women and improve their situation politically, culturally, socially and economically.
Main Activities
Help develop and put in place a strategic & integrated capacity building plan for Engage program,
Ensure the coordination and smooth running of the capacity building operations of FAFM,
Ensure periodic updating of the capacity-building strategy,
Identify, develop & promote tools and guidelines for capacity building,
Design and conduct training workshops for the benefit of partner associations,
Ensure and oversee the weekly, monthly and quarterly planning of capacity building activities,
Contribute to the development of capacity building standards and best practices, & recommend how to spread good practice,
Keep abreast of developments in capacity building practice and recommend enhancements to FAFM’s efficiency and effectiveness,
Conduct field trips to support partner associations throughout Morocco,
Identify and document success stories and case studies on extraordinary aspects of the projet,
Develop M&E plans, quarterly and annual reports,
Organize monitoring & evaluation missions in collaboration with the Executive Director,
Disseminating evaluation findings and project results to partners and stakeholders,
Contribute to the development of new projects and programs,
Representing FAFM in meetings, round tables, workshops, seminars during internal displacements in Morocco and abroad with donors, partners, etc
Required profile and skills
Hold a graduate degree (min bac +5) in social sciences or an equivalent degree,
Have a 5 years experience or more in capacity building projects,
Have a proven experience of capacity building, learning theory and organisational development work,
Have a working knowledge of Moroccan associations and international non-governmental organizations,
Have a good knowledge and understanding of the capacity building field in Morocco,
Have the ability to work in a team,
Have a sense of communication and anticipation,
Have a sense of initiative and autonomy,
Strong adaptive skills,
Master French and Arabic in oral and writing.
