This is a unique opportunity to join an international company as a Purchaser . The main mission of the Purchaser is to manage the purchases for his company : he chooses the products and the suppliers, negotiates the best conditions of purchase (quality, price, delivery .

  • Key Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for securing and analyzing quotations and negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
  • To coordinate quality, engineering and price changes between company components and suppliers
  • Develops new, qualified supplier contacts
  • Prepares analytical reports and forecasts
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels and safety stock are maintained for their parts
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues with suppliers
  • Maintain and continuously evaluate supplier performance and escalate to Procurement when issues occur
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Identify and implement cost reduction / productivity projects to meet the corporate initiatives / goals
  • Resolve invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting
  • To adhere and be compliant to the policies and procedures in regards to quality, security / safety and environmental standards and strive to continuously improve processes
  • To ensure compliance with Federal-Mogul Quality and EHS policies, procedures and practices
  • To respect the environment and act consciously of environmental responsibilities
  • Required Skills

  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Supply chain management, purchasing and logistics, Textile or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
  • Beginner or 1 year of experience. Ideally in the Automotive sector
  • Strong combination of analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills
  • Knowledge of supplier processes and capabilities
  • Multilinguistic
