Manager of Cash and Clearing Operations department is accountable for overall oversight of the Cash, clearing including but not limited to processing of local currency payments, teller activities at Casablanca branch, cheque processing, regulatory reporting and other associated activities that can be broadly defined as follows.
Execution of LCY and FCY cash withdrawals and deposits;
Oversight of local currency payments, cheque clearing
Authorization of teller’s entries in the banking system;
Authorization of scanned documents and exceptions handling in Workflow system;
Continuous control of cash limits for vault hold in line with approved documentation;
Monitoring of suspense, deferred or other internal accounts to ensure they are liquidated at the end of the day or reconciliation cycle.
Follow closely transactions’ execution to reduce overall time required to process the transactions;
Timely escalation and resolution of customer enquiries
Compliance with clean desk policy
Conformance to both Local Regulation and Citi Policies including but not limited to ODC General Instructions, BAM circulars;
Control filed physical and electronic data to ascertain it fully comply with the records management musts,
Maintain partnership with peers, business partners based on mutual team work and trust
Participate in projects related to Cash and Clearing Operations;
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry, with experience of management of remote teams;
Thorough understanding of local regulations and for internal candidates Citi Policies covering cash and clearing services;
High level of integrity / sense of responsibility;
Strong interpersonal skills. Good / Communication Skills
Ability to identify, and execute change
Focused on improvement of customer experience
Fluency in Arabic, French and English
