  • Generate business with assigned clients and targets in line with the sales plan
  • Provide client and target information, maintain CRM with 100% accuracy on every sales call and visits.
  • Execute sales process and achieve minimum number of sales visits per week.
  • Provide administrative support in relation to scheduling of sales meetings, preparation of sales collateral material and client SOP’s.
  • Communicate if specific client and / or operational problems need to be addressed.
  • Contact potential customers to qualify and process sales leads
  • Create customer profiles, assure accuracy / completeness of data
  • Maintain customer rate tariffs and shipping schedules.
  • Monitor responses on all sales leads and send reminders when necessary.
  • Generate and distribute (internal / external) reports as assigned by the management
  • Monitor adherence to SOPs
  • Prepare quotations for Panalpina network and targeted accounts applying the pricing policy
  • Carry out other tasks as required by management
  • Understands and ensures adherence to Panalpina Quality Policies, Standards and Guidelines (according to ISO 9’001, ISO 14’001 and ISO 18’001 certification) and ensures compliance to processes and procedures set in Panalpina IMS.
  • Ensures strict adherence to Panalpina Code of Conduct.
  • Qualifications

  • Business administration / commercial background
  • Sales experience within our industry (minimum 3 years)
  • Functional experience in air & sea freight forwarding and customs brokerage.
  • Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers).
  • Working experience with CRM or other reporting tools.
  • Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints in coordination with Customer Services department.
  • Skills

  • Ability to successfully execute the sales process.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional interfaces (Operations and ISPs).
  • Self-management (Planning, Organizing & Goal Setting, Execution).
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Decision-making capabilities
  • Self-driven and with strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Very good relationship building and maintenance capabilities
  • Results oriented and very strong Customer focus
  • Very good Presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Languages

  • Local languages and fluent English spoken and written
